Ryan’s first blog EVRRRR!!!!

Good afternoon, everyone. I’m writing from my apartment, where me and my roommates are playing Tiger Woods Mini-Putt – very poorly. My schedule is not particularly heavy. My classes, most of them in the morning, are over for today; my slightly dreaded school telemarketing job comes later. That’s my day. No juicy gossip today, or ever – I keep that to myself.

Nothing on the contemplative chopping block right now, that’ll arrive after I overcome this first post. Because honestly, someone’s first blog post can’t be much more than an introduction to the world, to show some personality to the online community. Maybe I’m naive, but an instant thesis or rant on a blog is a little unbecoming (not to discourage the people that are also using this blog).

Today I’m just going to give my two cents on my favorite team, the New York Jets, and their win over the Miami Dolphins. Each bullet represents 1 cent!!!

  • Thomas Jones, the Super Bowl-veteran gem of the Jets offseason, finally found his rhythm as the power running back everyone expected him to be. The best run he made had to be the one when he stiff-armed a Dolphin defender to the ground as he got a first down and more. Though a few games late, he joins the nimble Leon Washington to beef up the Jets ground game. In fact, the entire offense is looking good.
  • The defense was abysmal. The Dolphins ran all over it, almost overcoming the 17 point hole that Chad Pennington and the Jets offense put them in. The Jets won’t survive in the playoffs, let alone make them, if they can’t shape up on D.

That’s about it. I hope my next blog can provide a little more commentary and insight on topics a bit more worldly than football. On the other hand, I might be inclined to bring up my Jets again if they show incredible potential in the next few weeks.
